January 2018 PowerSheets Goals

goals, goal setting, monthly goals, personal development, self help, powersheets, cultivate what matters, Fearfully Fashioned

If you couldn't tell by now, I love January. To me, it represents a month of new beginnings. And although any time is a great time to set and start new goals, there’s something exhilarating about closing the chapter of a year and starting anew with the next. It always re-motivates me to make sure that my goals are aligning with what I want to get out of the year.

In my previous post, I shared my yearly goals and today I’m sharing my monthly goals. My monthly goals are set based on my yearly goals. By taking action on my monthly goals, I’m contributing to the progress of my yearly ones. So with the start of the year, I’m ready to dive in to fashion my life and business!

January Goals

Monthly Goals:

goals, goal setting, monthly goals, personal development, self help, powersheets, cultivate what matters, Fearfully Fashioned

1) Create a stockpile of recipes and meal plan for the month

I’m on a healing treatment protocol given to me by my naturopath, so for the next six months, I’m following a low FODMAP diet plan, which is very specific. So right after Christmas, I bought 4 different cookbooks and a guidebook so I can have plenty of options and variety to make sure that I stick to the protocol.

2) Read The Wellness Revelation & start the challenge

I have quite the health journey. I’ve always struggled with my weight, and for the last few years, I’ve been battling stomach issues due to anxiety and stress. I found Alisa Keeton’s Revelation Wellness Podcast early in 2017 and this woman is so anointed. She coaches you through a workout while basically preaching a sermon, and she’s the only person who has made me (slightly) enjoy running. She released a book last year on faith, health, and wellness, so I thought that this would be a perfect read to coincide with my health goals for the year.

3) Read and implement Breakthrough Business Development

I’ve been occasionally reading this over the last few months and I’ve found the teaching in it so helpful as I work on tweaking and implementing new systems in my business. I look forward to finishing it this month.

4) Finish creating and uploading content for LDU

5) Create and write LDU launch strategy

(More on the last two to come!)

6) Create and implement a fresh social media strategy

I’ve been quiet on social media lately because I’ve been brainstorming and working on fresh strategies and content to inspire and motivate you to fashion a life and business that you and God love, but also share my own journey as well.

7) Outline purpose/objectives for 21-day fast

Every January, my church prays in the New Year by doing a corporate fast. Outlining my purpose and objectives will help me to purposefully pray and petition God during the fast.

8) Read and pray through Rooted during the fast

Since writing out my goals for the month, I’ve decided to also go through my pastor’s new book 10 Qualities That Move You From a Believer to a Disciple. Our church is going through this during our fast, so I'm reading both.

9) Attend the Small Group Open House

Due to my work schedule last year, it was hard for me to go to small group. Now that I have greater control over my schedule, I’m looking to find a small group that I can get rooted in and grow in community.

10) Add Fusion dates/times to my calendar

Fusion is our young adults' ministry and since I’m still finding friends in Atlanta, I look forward to attending and cultivating my faith within our community here.

Weekly Goals:

1) Meal prep
2) Workout 4-5 times a week
3) No Matters Whats
4) Review finances and stats
5) Pray through Val Marie Paper Prayer Journal
6) Flourish Devotional
7) Call family at home
