It’s important that as you pursue your purpose you define what success looks like to you. It can be easy to get caught in the numbers game when you think of success.

If you had to paint a picture of success, what would it look like to you? Would it look like working in a high-level career where you’ve finally snagged the corner office?

When I think about my biggest fear, I think about the idea of failing. Somehow common fears like the fear of never getting married, rejection, or change never trumped my fear of not being successful. I’m sure that many of us can relate. The idea of not making it in life is a terrifying thought. To think that we work so hard and put so much time and effort into building or creating a “successful” life only to never make it is quite devastating. The question is, why do we find that so horrible? 

When it comes to setting resolutions or goals, the foundation of your success begins with your mind. The mind is the most powerful tool that we have. If used the right way, it makes all the difference to how we sustain the journey of completing our goals.
