Where has the year gone?! I can’t believe that we are already down to the last month of the year! When I sit down and reflect on what all occurred in the last year, I’m truly in awe of God and what He has done.

The holidays have always been my favorite time of the year. It’s the only time of year where we slow down our hearts to focus on what truly matters.  The days get shorter, the air gets colder,  and we decide to get after grateful surrounded by those we love the most.

It’s hard to believe that we are down to the final few months of the year. October was such a pivotal month for me -- I turned 24, quit my job, and started the journey of full-time entrepreneurship.

Discipline is an area that we all struggle with from time to time. We want to accomplish our goals, improve our health, and get consistent in our walk with God, but there’s a major component missing from our effort and that is discipline.

Have you ever felt like you are busy but aren’t making any progress toward your goals? That’s how I felt last year before I discovered the PowerSheets. I was busy, striving, and worn out trying to hold everything together.

October is arguably one of my favorite months of the year. Pumpkin spice lattes are back and in full swing, the leaves are beginning to change, the air starts feeling crisper, and most importantly, it’s my birthday month!

I remember when I was growing up. I was so on fire for Christ. I lived, eat, and breathed His Word. My favorite store was the Family Christian Bookstore. I would go in there with my mom ready to scan through any and all devotional books for young girls. I was hungry for God, and I was thirsty to hear and see more of Him.

As purpose-driven women, we have a lot on our plates. We work, we volunteer, we’re involved in our church communities, we’re social, and we’re actively pursuing the vision that God has placed on our heart. There are things to do, meetings to attend, and places to be

One of my goals for 2018 is to move into full-time entrepreneurship, so I wanted to get intentional in making sure that I was accomplishing my most important business goals.
